LOOOOVE! Luh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huuuuuve them. Holy bag overload, Batman (I was outwardly ecstatic!)Īnd obviously, you have a plethora of colors and patterns to choose from AND they are PERSONALIZE-ABLE! (check out the catalog here).Īnd I love them. (For those of you needing a more formal job title than “bag slinger”, how about “Independent Thirty-One Consultant.” That has a nice ring to it, huh?)Īnd then I got my enrollment kit (for ONLY $99, what! what!): And a mere 6 days after, I decided to sling bags for cash. So naturally it made sense for me to throw a Thirty-One Party. We implemented the “One Bag In, One Bag Out” Policy. To the point that a bag embargo was placed on my house until I could negotiate my way to some new ones. I’m a simple bag lady.)Īnd “Organizing Solutions” (there is such a thing.) Oh, and just recently and I started selling Thirty-One products*.)Īnd purses. Or just kind of focused on other things (like my family, my health, there was a 189 mile relay thrown in there somewhere, vacations, and visitors, and summer, weekly speech therapy for Brodes and now “Mommy School” with Grant. That was quite an unscheduled hiatus, I know. Did you have a nice summer? What about fall? How is that going for ya? The Mr.Hello, Hello? Is this thing on? This moment right before he opens his eyes again, he has with nonaction transitioned back to a place of self-state where the grief isn’t all of him anymore. By seeking stillness within the Lantern Mother, he can feel with his eyes closed the dancing continue and see the faces that haven’t left him, only changed. This childlike simplicity is often represented by uncut wood and in Daoism, it is viewed as another state we aim to return to.īoth Yiguan Dao and Daoism shaped the imagery in this parable about a young boy who has just lost his village. This is one of my favorite explanations of manifestation.Īnother Daoist precept includes the self-state “ziran” (自然), which is our original nature before being imprinted, shaped, and molded by our built environments. This way, we can arrive where we are going by following spiritual currents. Rather than exert ourselves against natural cycles of change, we can place our will in harmony with The Tao. Its nonaction precept “wuwei” (無爲) points at the way water yields to all of nature and encourages the same approach in our daily lives. It honors the primordial source of all things as the Eternal Venerable Mother, 無極母, the Lantern Mother and in many shrines and temples is represented by flame.ĭaoism seeks unity as well, but without personifying the rhythms of the universe, which it calls The Tao. Yiguan Dao, or “The Way of Unity” (一貫道) is one of the philosophies in the Hundred Schools of Thought (the grouping of eastern philosophy and spirituality also referred to as Taoic religion) and it is the fifth largest spiritual philosophy in Taiwan.
